Dr. Lucas Myers is an obstetrician and gynecologist and the clinical founder of Selkirk Center. A native of the Inland Northwest, he served as a Pararescueman in the U.S. Air Force before separating from military service to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Myers earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Whitworth University and his medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Oklahoma State University.

Committed to advancing surgical care for women, Dr. Myers pursued advanced training in minimally invasive obstetric technique under internationally recognized practitioners in Europe, including Drs. Ami Olivié, Mathieu Fauck, Denis Fauck, and Luka Velemir. He brings a surgical approach to cesarean delivery that prioritizes reduced postoperative pain and faster recovery. The standard of care he pursues reflects a broader conviction: that how care is delivered matters as much as whether it is delivered at all.

Dr. Myers returned to the Spokane region with a focused objective: to build a new model of women's healthcare in North Idaho. Together with his wife, Dr. Nichole Myers, he is developing Selkirk Center, a physician owned, physician governed specialty hospital designed to deliver advanced care under a governance structure that keeps clinical decisions with the people responsible for them.

His background in military service, advanced surgical training, and deep regional roots informs both the clinical ambition and the institutional character of Selkirk Center.
