Denny LaRue is considered our team’s honorary MVP. A retired NHL referee, his professional career spanned nearly three decades and included a record-setting 1,222 games, four Winter Olympics, and the Stanley Cup.

Known for his ability to foster meaningful relationships, Denny has a rare talent for bringing people together around a shared vision. His leadership, credibility, and network have made him an integral part of Selkirk Center’s investor outreach and partnership development efforts.

Beyond his work with Selkirk Center, Denny has been deeply committed to community leadership in the Inland Northwest. He has helped lead a grassroots effort to build a new ice rink in Spokane with the goal of growing the game of hockey and creating more opportunities for youth in the region.

Denny brings to the team a unique combination of discipline, trust, and connection-building that reflects the broader mission of Selkirk Center: bringing exceptional people together to build something lasting for the community.
